About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking passionate, experienced nurses to join their team at Jay Hospital ED. This role offers opportunities for professional development, career advancement, and the delivery of high-level patient care. The position is within an 11-bed Emergency Department that provides care for infant, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients. The department has recently expanded to include a SANE program and has exceeded patient satisfaction goals. The team is growing and adding an advanced practice provider and an additional nurse. The unit culture emphasizes great teamwork, and nurses gain skills in assessment, comprehensive care, and critical thinking.

Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
