About The Position

This role is for a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department at Ascension Seton Northwest Hospital. The position is full-time and works the night shift. The nurse will deliver high-quality direct nursing care by adhering to organizational policies and evidence-based safety protocols. They will implement care plans, track clinical status, provide real-time documentation, and communicate critical information to the medical team. The nurse will also coordinate with other healthcare disciplines to ensure cohesive patient care and meticulously carry out physician orders while leading collaborative discharge planning for a safe transition of care.

Requirements

Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
