This Registered Nurse position at Mountains Behavioral Health is a part-time role (0.6 FTE) requiring the nurse to provide comprehensive patient care. Responsibilities include assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting patient care according to the interdisciplinary treatment plan. The role demands knowledge of age-specific needs, care for mentally ill individuals, relevant regulations (Chapter 5100 of the M.H. Procedures Act, CMS, CIHQ standards), patient rights, and confidentiality. The nurse will conduct therapeutic 1:1s, lead or co-lead therapeutic groups, and provide patient/family teaching. Collaboration with physicians and other disciplines is crucial for developing and revising treatment and discharge plans. The role involves directing other disciplines, maintaining nursing standards, and exemplifying the organization's mission, vision, and values. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients, families, and staff. The nurse will also assist with patient and family education and may be assigned charge nurse duties. Flexibility to float to all units, including geropsych, adult, and adolescent units, is required.
