Registered Nurse (RN) for the Critical Care Unit (CCU). This is a full-time position with a 36-hour work week, requiring every third weekend and every other holiday rotation. The schedule is from 1845 to 0715. A sign-on bonus is available based on shift and FTE, with amounts ranging from $5k to $15k. The pay range is $38.20 - $57.30 per hour. The role involves engaging in unit councils, professional governance, and quality initiatives to improve care processes and apply evidence-based practices. The RN will utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, diagnose, implement, and evaluate nursing care, engaging patients and families throughout the continuum of care. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, adjusting care plans, mobilizing resources, collaborating with the care team, and upholding a culture of safety. The position requires continuous evaluation of patient, team, and unit outcomes, administering medications and treatments, demonstrating effective communication, and pursuing professional development. Ethical decision-making, respect for interdisciplinary roles, and integrated, unbiased patient care are essential. Appropriate delegation to other nursing staff and accurate, timely EHR documentation are also key responsibilities. The RN may be required to float to other units or facilities to meet patient care needs and must demonstrate age-specific knowledge and skills for patient care.
