About The Position

Whitehall Borough Post Acute is hiring full-time Registered Nurses at its 166-bed skilled nursing and post-acute care facility in Whitehall, Pennsylvania. Nurses provide direct care to residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by CNAs. Working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing (DON), the RN helps ensure compliance with current state, federal, and local standards. The position is supported by a long-tenured clinical team and accessible facility leadership.

The role offers 8-hour shifts on a two-week rotating schedule, with shift options of 6 a.m.–2 p.m., 2 p.m.–10 p.m., or 10 p.m.–6 a.m. The facility describes its environment as clean and organized, with a focus on appropriate staffing and accessible leadership. After onboarding, employees may also pick up PRN shifts at any of eight regional facilities.

Requirements

• Hold a current, unencumbered license to practice as a nurse in Pennsylvania and maintain good standing with the State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain all required continuing education.
• Hold active CPR certification.
• Demonstrate compassion for a vulnerable population and willingness to advocate for patients.
• Understand Patient Rights.

Nice To Haves

• BLS certification with skills is preferred.
• Experience with Point Click Care (PCC) is helpful.

Responsibilities
