About The Position
The Registered Nurse is a clinically competent nursing professional with expertise in the assessment, diagnosing, planning, implementation and evaluation of actual potential responses to human disease and illness. The Registered Nurse achieves these objectives by engaging in a variety of direct patient/family care activities. The Registered Nurse must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served. Provides professional nursing care to assigned patients. Assesses patients, develops and documents nursing care and discharge plans, and prepares and administers medications and interventions. Supervises nursing attendants and ancillary staff in patient care activities.
Requirements
- New York State RN License Required
- Associate's Degree Required
- Basic Life Support Training Required
- Infection Control Training Required
- Effective English communication skills
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
