About The Position

Indiana University Health is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the Emergency Department. The role offers opportunities to develop clinical expertise, explore career opportunities, and learn within a collaborative, patient-centered healthcare environment. The position requires at least one year of RN experience and is full-time, working nights from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with rotating weekends and holidays. Nursing skills developed on the unit include assessment, comprehensive care, and critical thinking. The unit emphasizes great teamwork.

Requirements

• At least one year of RN experience.
• Associate of Nursing (ASN) required; Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Graduation from a nationally accredited nursing program. Candidates without graduation from a nationally accredited program may be considered if they have more than two years of acute care experience, subject to review and approval by the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Additional advanced life support certifications may be required according to unit or department specialty and patient care policies.
