The RN may serve as charge nurse and delegate appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed assistive personnel, while providing support to promote safe and reliable care and resolve care or service concerns. Practice follows the Nurse Practice Act and applicable administrative rules, as well as the American Nurses Association’s Scope and Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics for Nurses.
