Registered Nurse (RN) Weekends On Call
About The Position
Agape Care Group is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to provide after-hours hospice care and support patients and their families. The RN serves as a patient advocate, communicates with the patient, family, and hospice care team about the plan of care, and helps ensure that patients receive quality care and meaningful experiences. After-Hours Hospice RNs are salaried, full-time positions covering on-call hours from 5 p.m. Friday through 8 a.m. Monday. They are supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. The role offers supportive leadership, professional development opportunities, and room for advancement.
Requirements
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state license as a registered nurse.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently, lift at least 80–100 lbs, and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.
