RN On-Call Weekends
About The Position
Crescent Hospice is seeking a Full Time On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care and support to hospice patients and their families during their most critical moments. As an On-Call RN, you will identify patient and family needs, coordinate care, and offer preventative measures and compassionate support. The schedule for this position is Friday 4:30 PM through Monday 8:00 AM, covering Orangeburg and surrounding Counties. Requirements
- Hold current unencumbered license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
- Minimum one (1) year experience as an RN in a medical surgical/acute care setting.
- Must be computer proficient in typing and various programs, including a background in EMR.
- Possess and maintain current CPR certification if required by state.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in nursing or health care preferred.
- Hospice experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Respond to a variety of patient needs, from urgent to routine, providing unwavering support in critical moments.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient's physical, emotional, social, and spiritual needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the patient's home, within the agency, and in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Support patients' families by sharing knowledge and expertise, guiding and supporting them in caring for their terminally ill loved ones.
