About The Position
The Georgia Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join their team at the Bartow County Health Department in Cartersville, Georgia. This is a full-time, unclassified position working 40 hours per week. The RN will provide professional nursing care under supervision, adhering to established protocols and procedures. DPH is dedicated to protecting lives and promoting healthy lifestyles in Georgia communities through disease prevention, health promotion, and disaster preparedness and response. Employees are encouraged to engage in wellness activities, with authorized physical activity breaks during the workday.
Requirements
- Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited college or university
- Completion of a PHN course within one year of hire
- Current Georgia Registered Professional Nurse license
- CPR certification
