About The Position
Baptist Health Floyd is seeking a Registered Nurse for their 3AC Medical Inpatient Innovation Unit. This is a full-time position (36 hours weekly) with night shifts (7pm-7am). The role involves direct, comprehensive nursing care for patients from admission to discharge, functioning as an on-shift team member to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. The Innovation Unit is a 44-bed medical-surgical unit that pilots new ideas and cares for a wide range of medical diagnoses and conditions. It is an opportunity for new graduates and experienced nurses alike, with seasoned nurses sharing their expertise.
Requirements
- Current Indiana or compact state RN license
- BLS for Healthcare Provider required
Nice To Haves
- Self-Scheduling
- Every 3rd weekend rotation for NAs
- Every 4th weekend requirement for nurses
- Work 1 summer and 1 winter holiday ONLY
Responsibilities
- Responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient from admission to discharge.
- Function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.
