About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with expertise in the Operating Room to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing various surgical procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism, empathy, and a commitment to patient safety in a fast-paced environment. This position is located in Atlanta, GA, and requires availability from 6:45 AM to 3:15 PM, Monday through Friday. The candidate must also be willing to work during major holidays, including two of Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, or New Year's Day, and one minor holiday such as the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Operating Room or within relevant specialties including Orthopedic, Plastic, General, Colorectal, and GYN surgery.
• Current AHA BLS certification is required.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and work in a high-pressure environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and organization of the operating room for surgical procedures.
• Provide direct patient care and support to patients before, during, and after surgery.
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimized patient outcomes.
• Monitor patients' conditions during and after surgical procedures, managing care as necessary.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control procedures.
• Document patient care accurately and thoroughly in medical records.
