Registered Nurse - Substance Use Disorder Treatment

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct medical care and support to adult clients in our residential SUD treatment program. As an RN, you’ll be a key member of our interdisciplinary team, responsible for nursing assessments, medication administration, detox monitoring, client education, and collaboration with medical providers. Requirements
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Massachusetts
- Current CPR/BLS, AED, and First Aid certification required
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a behavioral health, psychiatric, or substance use treatment setting preferred
- Experience with detoxification protocols
- Experience working with individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders
Responsibilities
- Complete nursing assessments upon admission and as needed
- Administer medications and monitor client responses
- Implement and monitor detoxification protocols
- Conduct COWS and CIWA assessments per protocol
- Provide health and medication education to clients
- Collaborate with medical providers during evaluations and medication management appointments
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation
- Ensure medical equipment is functioning properly and safely
- Support a safe, respectful, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned
