Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving as a Registered Nurse and be part of something better! This position is in the Emergency Department, working 3 night shifts per week from 7p-7a. The patient population includes all ages, acuities, and stages of life, with direct patient care and documentation for patients presenting with various complaints. Responsibilities include triage, working in main sections with higher acuity, and Express Care/fast track for lower acuity patients. Staff rotate to different areas based on experience and training. The department is currently seeking Level III Trauma designation, is a Primary Stroke Center, and a Primary Chest Pain Center, with a wonderful EMS partnership. It features Radiology with CT and Sono within the ED, self-scheduling with voluntary on-call, and ongoing Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects.
