About The Position

Responsible for working with other healthcare professionals to help treat patients with various injuries, illnesses or disabilities. Monitors patients, administers medications, keeps records, consults with healthcare providers, educates patients and more.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse
  • Hematology Oncology experience
  • Ability to work days, 8 AM - 4 PM
  • Ability to work Per-Diem

Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate, complete, and timely patient health care records and reports
  • Administer medications and treatments and monitor patients for side effects or adverse reactions
  • Monitor, assess, document, and report symptoms or changes in patient condition
  • Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
  • Record and monitor vital signs and relevant medical information
  • Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and self‑care
  • Prescribe and coordinate assistive medical devices and related treatments as appropriate
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
