About The Position

Peterborough Hospital and Nalya Lodge Aged Care are seeking Registered Nurses for two positions: one Permanent 3.76FTE for the Hospital (Acute) and one Permanent 2.49FTE for Nalya Lodge (Aged Care). Peterborough is a vibrant rural town offering a unique lifestyle with a blend of heritage, creative spirit, and a strong sense of community. Peterborough Hospital provides essential health services including 24-hour accident and emergency care, acute medical services, aged care services, and medical imaging, with 12 acute beds and 11 Residential Aged Care (RAC) beds.

Requirements

• Registration or eligibility for enrolment as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia.
• Hold, or be eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
• Undergo employment screening.
• Meet immunisation requirements.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a range of vital services including 24-hour accident and emergency care.
• Provide acute medical services.
• Offer aged care services.
• Perform medical imaging.
• Provide person-centred care to the community.
