About The Position
PAM Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for a PRN day position at Surprise Rehab. Under the direction of the Chief Nursing Officer/Director of Nursing, Nurse Manager, or Charge Nurse, the RN uses the nursing process to deliver, direct, and supervise care for patients admitted to the nursing unit. The RN plans, coordinates, and provides patient care, including interdisciplinary planning, discharge planning, patient and family teaching for post-hospitalization, and accessing community resources. The RN may perform other related duties as assigned or requested, including serving as Charge Nurse when appropriately certified. PAM Health provides specialty healthcare services through more than 80 locations, wound clinics, and outpatient physical therapy locations in 17 states. Requirements
- Hold a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state where the hospital resides, or compact licensure if the state participates.
- Hold current BLS certification.
- Provide evidence of ACLS certification within 90 days of employment; BLS and ACLS certifications must be AHA approved within 90 days of employment.
- Current ACLS certification is required for Charge Nurses.
Nice To Haves
- One year of inpatient medical-surgical nursing experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
