About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Long Term Care facility located in City, State. In this role, you will provide essential nursing care and support to residents, ensuring their health and well-being in a 26-bed environment. The facility is equipped to handle patients with common diagnoses, including heart disease, diabetes, and dementia. Oxygen therapy and portable concentrators are available for resident use.
Requirements
- Current BLS certification is required.
- Previous experience in Long Term Care (LTC) is essential.
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Responsibilities
- Act as charge nurse, overseeing daily operations of the unit.
- Administer medications and perform wound care procedures.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams as needed, including physical therapy and social work.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation using the Matrix EMR system.
