RN - Emergency Department
About The Position
Avita Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care in the Emergency Department at Avita Ontario Hospital. The RN coordinates care planning with other disciplines and provides care addressing patients’ psychosocial, physical, and general needs. The nurse determines care priorities based on patient needs and factors affecting patient flow, communicates with ED physicians about changes in patient status, symptoms, and diagnostic results, and responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or treatment response. The schedule consists of two 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m., with every third weekend and holiday work required. A commitment bonus of up to $5,000 is offered.
Requirements
- Current State of Ohio Registered Nurse license.
- Current BLS certification.
- ACLS certification within 3 months of hire.
- PALS certification within 6 months of hire.
- TNCC certification within one year of hire.
Nice To Haves
- 1–2 years of Registered Nurse experience within the last 24 months.
