About The Position

MultiCare is seeking a staff Registered Nurse to join its hospital-based team and provide specialized nursing care using a multidisciplinary approach. The role supports a nursing environment in which nurses participate in clinical decision-making, communicate openly with colleagues, receive professional development support, and contribute to the future of nursing at MultiCare. The position is based at MultiCare Yakima Memorial Hospital, a 226-bed not-for-profit hospital serving the Yakima Valley. The hospital provides care across a multispecialty team and more than 20 primary and specialty care locations. The role is scheduled for 1.0 FTE, with 10-hour day shifts and rotating weekends and holidays.

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS).
Current BLS certification.
ACLS, NALS, PALS, TNCC, or NRP certification, as required by the facility or department.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN).
Certification in a specialty area.
One year of experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering, and evaluating care on an ongoing basis.
Use nursing education and experience to deliver care through the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience and reduce costs.
Foster a learning environment for patients and families, nursing staff, and members of the health care team.
Advocate for ethical, holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
