About The Position

The Registered Nurse renders highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. The role provides direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The nurse directs and supervises other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team members to provide age- and developmentally appropriate care in accordance with unit standards of care.

This position is with the Resource Team at Methodist Southwest Medical Center, a 314-bed, full-service acute care teaching hospital serving communities in southwestern Dallas County. The position is listed as full-time and uses a 12X3 night shift. The listed hours of work are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support certification.
• Current additional certifications as required by the department.
• Current license to practice professional nursing in Texas, or eligibility to obtain one.
• At least 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Room RN experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
