Registered Nurse - Cardiac Medical Telemetry- Nights
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care to patients on a cardiac medical telemetry unit at Glenbrook Hospital. The nurse uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care; guides assigned unlicensed assistive personnel; and collaborates with the healthcare team to support optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care. The role also contributes to safety outcomes and a high-quality patient experience. This is a full-time, 36-hour-per-week night-shift position, with hours from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. and rotating weekends. Required travel is not applicable.
Requirements
- Current professional nursing licensure in the State of Illinois.
- Graduation from an NLN-accredited school of nursing.
- BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider.
- Prior nursing experience, or CNA experience for a new graduate nurse, is preferred.
