Registered Nurse STO (Short Term Option) - Renal Acuity Adaptable Unit

This role is an excellent opportunity at Community East in the Renal Acuity Adaptable Unit, seeking nurses for a 13-week assignment working night shifts, offering "Travel RN pay without the travel." This is a fast-paced acuity adaptability unit designed to care for renal-specific M/S & PCU level patients. The unit has a dedicated hemodialysis team. All nurses will receive PCU level training and become ACLS certified. This is the highest acuity level M/S unit in the Network.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA accredited school of nursing, OR three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).
- At least two full years of recent Med/Surg experience.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
Responsibilities
- Care for renal-specific M/S & PCU level patients.
- Administer dialysis to patients requiring it (in collaboration with the hemodialysis team).
- Provide PCU level care.
- Work on the highest acuity level M/S unit in the Network.
