About The Position

The Registered Nurse provides specialized nursing care and clinical assessment to patients in an ambulatory setting. The role includes advocating for patients and offering support, counseling, and education. The nurse is responsible for patient case management and/or specialized procedures, and provides direct patient care in collaboration with other health care providers and ancillary services. The position directs clinical staff and maintains mandatory regulatory and institutional policies and procedures under the direction of the Manager/Medical Director. The nurse may be required to float to another ACU clinic as needed for staffing.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• At least 1 year of specialty experience or 2 years of ambulatory care or hospital-based experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Florida.
• Basic Life Support certification, or obtain it at the first opportunity after employment.
• Ability to show initiative and multitask.
• Ability to take on responsibilities.
• Proven problem-solving ability and ability to work as a team member.

Nice To Haves

• Certification in the area of specialty.

Responsibilities
