About The Position
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department. This role is critical in providing high-quality care to patients experiencing medical emergencies. The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in both adult and pediatric nursing, demonstrating a well-rounded skill set applicable to diverse clinical situations.
Requirements
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 4 years of well-rounded nursing experience in adult and pediatric care.
- Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a large facility is preferred, with Level 1 trauma experience highly valued.
- TNCC and ENPC certifications are preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the healthcare provider.
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes to the medical team.
- Assist with diagnostic procedures and evaluations.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans.
- Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and follow-up care.
