About The Position

INTEGRIS Health is seeking a dedicated caregiver to work as a Staff Registered Nurse on the Abdominal Transplant IMC team at INTEGRIS Health Baptist Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. This is a full-time, night-shift position. The nurse assumes responsibility for managing and delivering patient care using the nursing process. The role may require floating to other units and participating in on-call status, and requires population-specific competencies. The Registered Nurse manages and documents patient care, including assessments and reassessments, development of care plans, implementation and evaluation of patient care interventions, and supervision and coordination of other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned. The nurse may also provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate. The position may involve additional or varied physical demands and/or respiratory fit testing, as well as potential exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals. The Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president.

Requirements

Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) licensure or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Population-specific competencies.

Responsibilities

Manage and deliver patient care using the nursing process.
Document patient care, including assessments and reassessments.
Develop plans of care.
Implement and evaluate appropriate patient care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
Provide guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Float to other units as required.
Participate in on-call status as required.
