Requirements

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia with a current practising certificate.
  • Effective communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills, with the ability to prioritise workload.
  • Flexible, innovative and committed to providing consumer, client and family-centred care.
  • Demonstrated competence in nursing practice in accordance with relevant standards.
  • Knowledge of nursing practice, relevant legislation, standards, codes and quality improvement systems.
  • Satisfactory Criminal History Check.
  • Immunisation compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver safe, high-quality nursing and/or midwifery care across our health service.
  • Grow from a novice to a proficient practitioner, consolidating skills and knowledge through hands-on experience and continuous professional development.
  • Take accountability for own clinical standards while supporting others through effective delegation.
  • Make a meaningful contribution to person-centred care within a supportive and dynamic healthcare environment.
