RN ED FT Evening
About The Position
Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center – Irving as a Registered Nurse in the Emergency Department. This role involves direct patient care and documentation for patients presenting with a variety of complaints. Staff will rotate to different areas within the ED based on experience and training, including main sections with higher acuity and Express Care/fast track for lower acuity patients. The department is currently seeking Level III Trauma designation and is a Primary Stroke Center and Primary Chest Pain Center, with a strong EMS partnership and on-site Radiology with CT and Sono. The position offers self-scheduling with voluntary on-call, paid Certified Emergency Nurse fees, and ongoing Evidence Based Practice and Process Improvement projects.
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program
- RN – Registered Nurse with min of 1 year ED Experience
- BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)
- ENPC and TNCC
- RN license
- Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
