About The Position
Big Bend Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Cath Lab unit. The RN evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements, and documents nursing care. The nurse assists physicians during examinations and procedures, performs patient tests, and administers medications within the scope of registered nursing practice. The role promotes patient independence by establishing care goals and teaching patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care skills. The RN relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, performs a variety of tasks, and is expected to exercise creativity and latitude. The position typically reports to a manager or head of a unit or department. This is a full-time, day-shift position, scheduled from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. It offers a $10,000 sign-on bonus in exchange for an 18-month commitment. Big Bend Regional Medical Center serves the Big Bend region of Texas with emergency, laboratory, women’s, and surgical services.
Requirements
- Cath Lab experience is required.
- An associate's degree is required.
- Must be certified as a registered nurse.
- Must have a license to practice professional nursing in Texas.
- Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in the field.

- Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
