About The Position

This is a Registered Nurse position at the Riley Outpatient Center Surgery - OR. The role requires OR experience and is part-time, day shift. The Riley Outpatient Surgery Center is a teaching facility focused on pediatric patients across various surgical specialties, located within Riley Hospital in downtown Indianapolis. The ambulatory surgery center has six operating rooms and operates Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1730. The staff work as a close-knit team to provide excellent care and ensure a positive experience for pediatric patients. Requirements

• Requires an Associates of Nursing (ASN).
• At least 1 year OR experience required.
• Requires an active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Indiana or an active Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) RN license.
• Requires that the RN has graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Requires Basic Life Support certification through the AHA.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• 2 Years OR Experience Preferred.
• Other advanced Life Support certifications may be required per unit/department specialty according to patient care policies.
