About The Position

Tap Healthcare Solutions is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) – Outpatient Surgery (OR) to join Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital in Santa Rosa, California. This full-time day-shift opportunity is ideal for an RN with ambulatory or outpatient surgical experience who enjoys the precision, teamwork, and fast-paced coordination of perioperative nursing. You will help ensure patients receive safe, efficient, and compassionate care throughout their surgical experience while collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other members of the perioperative team. Offering a competitive salary of $147,000 – $202,000 annually, this position provides an opportunity to bring your acute-care surgical experience to a collaborative outpatient environment while maintaining a full-time daytime schedule. From preparing patients and supporting surgical procedures to monitoring safety and coordinating care, you'll play an essential role in creating positive outcomes and an exceptional experience for every surgical patient.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification upon hire.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification upon hire.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional Registered Nurse experience.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and patient assessment skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team.

Nice To Haves

  • One (1) or more years of Outpatient Surgery RN experience within an acute care hospital setting.
  • At least one (1) year of professional Ambulatory Surgery RN experience, excluding student clinical experience.
  • One (1) to two (2) years of nursing experience in perioperative, operating room, or ambulatory surgical services.
  • Familiarity with perioperative patient care, surgical safety practices, and procedural workflows.
  • Experience working collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and multidisciplinary surgical teams.
