About The Position

Sentara CarePlex Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Inpatient Surgical Unit. This unit primarily serves the CarePlex postoperative patient population and experiences a quick turnover of patients. The role provides care for patients with complex needs across a wide range of surgical specialties, including Vascular, Neurosurgery, General Surgery, Orthopedic, Podiatric, Colorectal, Bariatric, Plastic, Gynecologic, and Urologic. In this role, you will work closely with surgeons and the multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional postoperative care. Occasionally, care is provided to patients with general medical needs. Requirements

Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire
RN-Associate’s Degree, or RN-Bachelor’s Degree, or RN-Diploma, or RN-Master’s Degree
