As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care within the scope of your practice, including assessment, planning, implementing a plan of care, and evaluating patients' progress. You will take primary responsibility for patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under your supervision and work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient care.

Requirements

  • 1-year experience in Labor and Delivery.
  • Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.
  • Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing
  • Current CA RN License
  • Current BLS-C provider from American Heart Association.
  • Current Advanced NRP (AAP-issued 8th edition or AAP-issued 7th edition)
  • Current Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring Certificate from AWHONN or NCC

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred.
  • RNC preferred.
  • 2 years’ experience in Labor & Delivery preferred.
  • EPIC experience preferred.
  • Experience circulating in the operating room preferred.
  • Triage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care within the scope of his/her practice.
  • Assessment, planning and implementing a plan of care and evaluating patients' progress towards expected outcomes.
  • Take primary responsibility for the patients' care as delivered by the Care Team under his/her supervision.
  • Works collaboratively with other members of the patient care team to ensure optimal patient care.
