Registered Nurse RN - Emergency Department
About The Position
The Registered Nurse develops, implements, and evaluates the nursing plan of patient care and implements the medical plan of care in collaboration with all disciplines. This Emergency Department role is based at Pottstown Hospital in Pottstown, Pennsylvania. The schedule is 7:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., with every third weekend and holiday rotation. Pottstown Hospital is a 195-bed member of Tower Health offering inpatient and outpatient, medical and surgical, diagnostic, and emergency care. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission and is a Primary Stroke Center, as well as Joint Commission-certified for hip and knee replacement.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
- Complete and maintain all competencies and trainings required for the role.
- Hold a Pennsylvania Registered Nurse Temporary Practice Permit or Registered Nurse License.
- BLS certification.
- ACLS certification.
- PALS certification.
