Registered Nurse (RN) 7 on 7 off
About The Position
Georgia Hospice Care is seeking a registered nurse to provide weeknight on-call hospice care. The RN evaluates patients, creates care plans, and communicates with patients, families, and the care team to help ensure patients receive quality care. If called upon, the RN visits patients during scheduled on-call hours, working alongside a 24/7, 365-day RN-staffed triage department. This is a salaried, full-time position covering on-call hours from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Thursday, ending Friday at 8 a.m. Georgia Hospice Care offers supportive leadership and professional development opportunities, with room for advancement. Pay is determined by years of experience and location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
- Current state license as a registered nurse.
- At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
- Reliable transportation.
- Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
- Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and bear the weight of an average adult effectively.
- A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.
