About The Position

Georgia Hospice Care is hiring a full-time After-Hours Hospice Registered Nurse for a 7-on/7-off schedule. The RN covers after-hours on-call service from 5 p.m. Friday to 8 a.m. Monday and is supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team. The nurse advocates for patients, communicates with patients, families, and the hospice care team about care plans, and helps ensure patients receive quality, compassionate care. Georgia Hospice Care offers supportive leadership, professional development, and opportunities for advancement. Pay is determined by years of experience and location.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
Current state license as a registered nurse.
At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
Ability to lift at least 80–100 lbs and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.
A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.

Hospice experience preferred.
