About The Position
Rehab Hospital of the Black Hills is seeking Day Shift and Night Shift Registered Nurses to join our team! This is a new hospital located in Rapid City, South Dakota, equipped with 36 inpatient medical rehabilitation beds and 18 long-term acute care beds. It uniquely combines two levels of care under one roof, offering comprehensive care solutions for patients who’ve suffered a range of debilitating injuries, illnesses, surgeries, and chronic medical conditions. The hospital is dedicated to delivering advanced treatments and compassionate care to help patients recover and regain their independence.
Requirements
- Current, valid, and active license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of employment required.
- Current BLS certification from a Vibra-approved vendor required.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
Nice To Haves
- CRRN and ACLS from a Vibra-approved vendor preferred.
- Previous acute care experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, evaluates and revises a plan of care of assigned patients and families while promoting the mission and values of Vibra Healthcare.
- Provides direct care along with the delegation and supervision of all nursing care in accordance with the applicable Nurse Practice Act.
