RN (Registered Nurse)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse works in a two-operating-room unit that handles approximately two to six cases per day. Common cases include CABG, robotic CABG and lung procedures, valve procedures, femoral-popliteal procedures, TAVR, EVAR, vascular cases, and cases across cardiovascular and other service lines. The RN circulates across all service lines. Scrubbing is not required, but is a plus. The unit has charge nurses on day and evening shifts. Depending on staffing, the day-shift charge nurse may provide lunch coverage, while the evening-shift charge nurse may also have a room assignment. PCAs assist with cleaning rooms and tasks such as running for blood. The unit uses Epic and is moving to Epic Gold EMR. Hospital scrubs are provided. There are no requirements to float to other departments.

- Registered Nurse (RN).
- Ability to meet the 30-minute call response time.

- Scrubbing experience.
Responsibilities

- Participate in weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call, with a 30-minute response time.
- Provide lunch coverage or take a room assignment when serving as charge nurse, depending on shift and staffing.
