About The Position

This role involves providing direct nursing care to behavioral health patients. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments, monitoring patient progress, developing and implementing individualized nursing care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary treatment teams. The nurse will also facilitate therapeutic interventions, such as group therapy sessions, and evaluate patient responses to treatment.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Illinois Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or jobtransfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.
A minimum of one year of professional experience specifically within the field of behavioral health required.

A Bachelor's degree in nursing is strongly required.
