About The Position

The Registered Nurse manages all aspects of the nursing process and delivers patient- and family-centered care. The nurse has the responsibility and authority to request and use governing and administrative resources, technological and support systems, and multidisciplinary clinical experts necessary to manage and deliver quality, cost-effective patient care. The role requires performing essential duties within the scope of nursing and demonstrating the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care to patients in the assigned department. The position is based at Salem Hospital, an affiliate of Mass General Brigham, and is part of its nursing team. Requirements

Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
Valid, current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
Be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily and demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide appropriate patient care.

Nice To Haves

Prefer 2 or more years of Med/Surg experience.
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
