About The Position

Join INTEGRIS Health as a full-time, day-shift Registered Nurse at Portland Medical Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. The Staff Registered Nurse manages the delivery and documentation of patient care, including assessment and reassessment, care-plan development, implementation of appropriate interventions, and evaluation of those interventions. The nurse supervises and coordinates other licensed and non-licensed personnel as assigned and provides guidance and mentorship to non-licensed personnel and students when appropriate. The Staff Registered Nurse reports to the appropriate manager, director, or vice president. This position may involve exposure to infections and communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals, and requires following standard precautions. Additional or varied physical demands and respiratory fit-test requirements may apply. A sign-on bonus may be available. Requirements

Current Registered Nurse licensure in Oklahoma or a current multistate license from a Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC) member state.
BLS (Basic Life Support) certification issued by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
Other certifications and competencies may be required based on the service line.

Responsibilities

Assess and reassess patients.
Develop patient plans of care.
Implement appropriate patient-care interventions.
Evaluate patient-care interventions.
Supervise and coordinate other licensed and non-licensed personnel in providing care to patients, as assigned.
Guide and mentor non-licensed personnel and students, as appropriate.
Follow standard precautions when working with potential exposure to infections, communicable diseases, blood and body fluids, electrical equipment, and chemicals.
