Registered Nurse (RN)- Part Time, Days - Sign on Bonus Offered!
About The Position
Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation – Mathews, VA is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a part-time basis for day and evening shifts. The RN works under the direction of the Director of Nursing and Assistant Director of Nursing, as applicable. They will assess, plan, implement, and execute the delivery of resident care and direct all activities to assure positive resident outcomes. The role requires maintaining close contact with residents, families, and staff while coordinating nursing services with all other disciplines.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire
- CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 Days
Responsibilities
- Assigns duties to professional and non-professional staff according to education, training, policy and resident need.
- Engages team members for optimal performance and addresses performance as needed to assure quality resident care is delivered.
- Develops, implements and evaluates resident plans of care.
- Communicates plan of care to providers, residents, families and staff.
- Identifies changes in condition with proper documentation following the Interact process.
- Demonstrates consistent follow through for positive resident outcomes.
- Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills.
- Demonstrates the ability to manage a typical nursing unit.
- Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety/dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
