About The Position
The Saskatchewan Health Authority (SHA) is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time regular position at Battlefords Union Hospital in North Battleford. This role is part of the Combined Care/Obstetrical Nursing Unit and involves extended shift hours. The nurse will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, actively participating in a model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology, and patient/family-centered care. The position promotes the organizational mission, vision, and values by providing safe, quality nursing care to clients.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
- MORE OB Program (Managing Obstetrical Risk Efficiently)
- S.T.A.B.L.E Program
- Breastfeeding Course
- BLS for Healthcare Provider (Level C) - Heart and Stroke
- Fetal Health Surveillance (FHS) course
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
- Must upload all relevant documents (ex: certificates, diplomas, proof of enrollment, licenses and/or memberships) relating to the qualifications of the position.
- Must bring a valid Criminal Record Check (CRC) to the interview; it must be dated within six (6) months and include a vulnerable sector search.
Nice To Haves
- Nursing diploma is acceptable
