About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers coordinated nursing care for a patient or an assigned group of patients according to established standards of care and the nursing process. The role supervises and directs the activities of assigned nursing staff at various levels and coordinates care with other disciplines, using critical thinking, professional and supervisory discretion, and independent judgment. Day shift options are available at 36 or 48 hours per week. One holiday off will be approved, and the candidate must be willing to work on other holidays.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice.
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor per AH policy.
• AHA-BLS or ARC-BLS certification.
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification.
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification.
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certification.
• Willingness to work holidays other than the one approved holiday off.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Acute care facility experience.
