About The Position

Join Baylor Scott and White Medical Center - McKinney as a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care Unit (ACU). The ACU is a fast-paced environment that includes high acuity patients, serving a general adult medical-surgical and telemetry population. Our ACU leadership team fosters an environment that supports learning, mentoring, and building every team member. The department is part of a Magnet facility with over 80% BSN-prepared nurses, a strong practice council, and opportunities for nursing certification reimbursement. Requirements

• Graduated from an Accredited Program.
• Minimum of 2.5 years of Acute Care/Med Surg Tele hospital experience.
• Specialized field of study in nursing.
• RN license.
• BLS certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of starting.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for general adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participate in unit-based councils.
