About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a 0.9 FTE Registered Nurse for our Medical Unit (West 4). West 4 is a 40-bed Medical unit where staff will be trained to care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients. This unit offers growth opportunities for advancement in critical care areas.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (may be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license).
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification.

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• One year recent Medical or Surgical nursing experience.
• One to two years of subacute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients.
• Take a rhythm assessment in the first week, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms (for RNs hired into units requiring cardiac rhythm interpretation competency).
