About The Position

Overlake Medical Center is seeking a .9 FTE Registered Nurse for our Medical Unit (West 4). West 4 is a 40-bed Medical unit where staff will be trained to care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients. This unit offers growth opportunities for advancement in critical care areas. The position is 0.9 FTE (36 hours per week) on the Night Shift.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Washington (may be a multi-State license from a Compact state or a Washington license).
• Healthcare provider CPR Certification.
• COVID-19 vaccination proof (required by October 18, 2021).

Nice To Haves

• BSN preferred.
• One year recent Medical or Surgical nursing experience.
• One to two years of subacute care experience.

Responsibilities

• Care for a diverse population of medical and overflow psychiatric patients.
• Take a rhythm assessment in the first week, including standard cardiac rhythms, dysrhythmias, and paced rhythms (if applicable to the unit).
