CCU Mixed Acuity Critical Care Full Time Nights

About The Position

The Registered Nurse works in the Critical Care Mixed Acuity Unit, a medical critical care and telemetry unit serving patients from young adulthood through geriatric age. Staff receive both critical care and telemetry training. The nurse implements the nursing process and provides patient care consistent with Kentucky Nursing Laws and organizational policies and procedures, with the goal of promoting positive patient outcomes and delivering quality care. The role involves collaboration with the inter-professional team, participation in unit-based and hospital shared governance councils, and ongoing professional development and lifelong learning. This is a full-time position scheduled for 36 hours per week on nights, consisting of three 12-hour shifts from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. The schedule includes every third weekend, and support shifts are required. Experienced candidates may be eligible for a sign-on bonus.

Requirements

Active Kentucky nursing license.
BCLS certification within 90 days of employment.
ACLS certification within six months for experienced staff nurses or within one year for new graduate nurses.
