About The Position
The Registered Nurse is a day-shift, full-time ICU position in Westwood, New Jersey. The role plans and delivers direct and indirect patient care, develops nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff as needed, and communicates changes in patients’ clinical conditions to physicians, the Nursing Supervisor/Manager, and coworkers as appropriate. The hospital is Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center, a 128-bed, full-service acute-care community hospital with an ICU.
Requirements
- Graduate of an NLN/AACN-accredited nursing program.
- At least 1 year of ICU experience in an acute hospital setting.
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure with the New Jersey Board of Nursing or an RN Multistate License from the NCL.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and before providing direct patient care.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
- Experience with Epic.
